About the Platform

The Singapore–Shenzhen Cross-Border Data Validation Platform (深新跨境数据验证平台) is a collaborative initiative that enables secure, privacy-preserving verification of data reports exchanged between institutions in Singapore and Shenzhen.

How It Works

Instead of transmitting raw data across borders, the platform uses cryptographic hash fingerprints. A Data Provider (DP) generates a SHA-256 hash of its report and deposits it on the FISCO BCOS blockchain via this platform. The Data Consumer (DC) independently hashes the report it received and verifies it against the on-chain record — confirming the data has not been tampered with, without ever exposing the underlying content.

Key Benefits

  • Privacy-preserving — original data never leaves the owner's control.
  • Tamper-proof — hash records are immutably stored on blockchain.
  • Cross-jurisdictional — designed for the Singapore–Shenzhen data corridor.
  • Auditable — every deposit and verification is recorded with a transaction number.

Platform Operators

The platform is jointly operated by the National (Shenzhen, Qianhai) New Internet Exchange Center and Accredify, with technical support provided by WeBank Co., Ltd. (Qianhai, Shenzhen).
